Tabo Monastery sits at 10,000 feet in the Spiti Valley in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It’s said to be where the Dalai Lama hopes to die and be reincarnated, as it is the place that most reminds him of his native Tibet.
I’m simply grateful to have survived to see it in this incarnation.
